West Houston Assistance Ministries provides free, life-changing services that foster self-sufficiency in those struggling to meet their basic needs. We feed children, families, seniors, and the homeless, offer financial aid with rent and bills to prevent eviction and disconnection of vital services, and provide employment services, education, and training to give the unemployed and underemployed the opportunity to learn new skills so they can find meaningful work. In 2021, we helped over 135,000 people with food, financial assistance and employment. Since covid19 began, we have helped over 200,000 struggling individuals during their most desperate moments.
